What is Alpaca IPX800?

It is an "Alpaca" port of the following ASCOM IPX800 drivers:

• IPX800 Roll Off Roof
• IPX800 Roll Off Shed
• IPX800 Clamshell
• IPX800 Cover Calibrator
• IPX800 Safety Monitor
• IPX800 Switch

Migrating from ASCOM to Alpaca

If you already use one (or more) of the drivers mentioned above, a configuration import tool (ASCOM IPX800 Driver Importer) is provided with this software and accessible from the desktop or from the Windows start menu.

Important: before running the import tool, you must install the latest version of the drivers you wish to import.

Important

If you currently have a version earlier than version 0.10.1, you will need to delete the database (located in the C:\ProgramData\Alpaca.IPX800 directory) and reimport drivers. The easiest way is to start by installing version 0.10.1, which will take care of this operation. If you have not installed a version earlier than version 0.10.1, you can install the latest version directly.
